- Software Compatibility: Complies with the Technology and Maintenance Council’s RP1210 standard and works with Cummins INSITE (such as version 8.7) and next new Updates, PowerSpec, and Calterm III software.
- Core Functions: Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), performs engine diagnostic tests, manages parameter and feature adjustments, and allows ECU reflashing/calibration data updates

Important Technical Notes
- Operating System Limits: Many aftermarket and bundled packages require Windows 7 or XP (and may not natively support or have full modern manufacturer backing on Windows 10/11/12 depending on the specific driver/software version). Cummins officially noted that tech support for the INLINE 6 hardware line has phased out in favor of newer models like the INLINE 7 and INLINE 8.
